The British Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Brazil (Britcham) conducted a Business Mission to London on 11, 12, and 13 June with a delegation of 15 representatives from member companies and Brazilian state governments. The official agenda developed over the three days, which included cultural events, content discussions, networking, and matchmaking, is part of the initiatives promoted in 2025 in celebration of 200 years of diplomatic and commercial relations between Brazil and the United Kingdom, and marks the official launch of the 8th edition of the guide Doing Business in Brazil, produced by members of the Chamber through the leadership of the Legal, Tax & Regulatory Committee. The official program ended on Friday (13 June). During a visit to the British Parliament, the delegation attended a live session of the House of Lords and, in a closed meeting between leaders of Britcham, Brazilian state governments, and the Trade Envoy for Brazil, the challenges and perspectives for strengthening the bilateral relationship were discussed, which currently does not reach its potential and is reflected in the fact that the United Kingdom is only the 27th largest trading partner of Brazil. To conclude the agenda, the group headed to the headquarters of Banco do Brasil in London to gain a better understanding of the support offered by the bank to international investors and connect with those responsible for local operations.
The delegation from the British Chamber was made up of Alan Lutfi (Rentável Investimentos), Décio Pio Borges de Castro (Machado Meyer Advogados), Fabio Caldas (Britcham Brasil), Germana Cruz (Standard Chartered), Luiz Guilherme Primos (Primos e Primos Advogados), Marcio Zanetti, Mathias Ehlert (Mourão Campos Group), Paulo Dantas (Castro Barros Advogados), Pedro Henrique Jardim (Machado Meyer Advogados), Rosana Muknicka (Muknicka Advogados), Fabrício Soares (Britcham Brasil), Clara Sasse (Britcham Brasil), and Gabriel Valério (Britcham Brasil)
