The British Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Brazil (Britcham) conducted a Business Mission to London on 11, 12, and 13 June with a delegation of 15 representatives from member companies and Brazilian state governments. The official agenda developed over the three days, which included cultural events, content discussions, networking, and matchmaking, is part of the initiatives promoted in 2025 in celebration of 200 years of diplomatic and commercial relations between Brazil and the United Kingdom, and marks the official launch of the 8th edition of the guide Doing Business in Brazil, produced by members of the Chamber through the leadership of the Legal, Tax & Regulatory Committee. On Thursday (12 June), after a breakfast with specialists from Gunnercooke, a partner of Britcham, about the British business environment, exclusive guests participated in a lunch with the Brazilian ambassador to the United Kingdom, Antonio Patriota; the secretary for the Promotion of Trade, Science, Technology, Innovation, and Culture of the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ambassador Laudemar Gonçalves A. Neto, and the UK's Trade Envoy to Brazil, Lord Evans of Sealand KCB DL. Following that, in an auditorium with nearly 90 people, the launch of the Doing Business in Brazil - 8th edition guide took place, with institutional speeches by Fabio Caldas and Luiz Guilherme Primos, as well as presentations of the Brazilian investment scenario by Luke Durigan, the executive director of Trade and Investment for Brazil from the British Government; Stephanie Costa, the deputy secretary of Science, Innovation and Technology of the Government of the State of São Paulo; Thiago Camargo, the director of Invest SP; and Bruno Costa, the undersecretary of International Relations of the Government of the State of Rio de Janeiro. After the presentations, members of the delegation, guests from Brazilian and British companies participated in matchmaking rounds and exclusive networking moments promoted by the Britcham ecosystem.
