On Wednesday, May 21, the British Chamber held the meeting Energy Transition 2025: a look at the risks, which was attended by Paulo Mantovani, Technical Head of Natural Resources at WTW, and moderated by Leonardo Miranda, president of the Energy Committee at Britcham. The event brought together representatives of the insurance, infrastructure and investment sectors to discuss the impacts of the energy transition on risk appetite and the challenges to make generation projects viable in the country. During the panel, several topics were addressed, with emphasis on Mantovani's analysis of the lag of traditional insurance models in the face of the speed of the transformations underway in the energy sector. The opening was conducted by Nicholas Burridge, president of Britcham in Rio de Janeiro.
