The British Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Brazil (Britcham) conducted a Business Mission to London on 11, 12, and 13 June with a delegation of 15 representatives from member companies and Brazilian state governments. The official agenda developed over the three days, which included cultural events, content discussions, networking, and matchmaking, is part of the initiatives promoted in 2025 in celebration of 200 years of diplomatic and commercial relations between Brazil and the United Kingdom, and marks the official launch of the 8th edition of the guide Doing Business in Brazil, produced by members of the Chamber through the leadership of the Legal, Tax & Regulatory Committee. On the first day, Wednesday (11 June), the delegation led by the Chair of the Administrative Council of Britcham, Fabio Caldas, and the leader of the Mission and the Advocacy Consultative Commission (CCA), Luiz Guilherme Primos, was welcomed with speeches from the Chair of the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce for Great Britain, Vera Innes; the Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce, Steven Lynch MBE, and the CEO and Head of Financial Institutions of Standard Chartered, Germana Cruz. On the occasion, the executives reinforced their commitment to expanding dialogue and joint actions in favor of the development of both nations.
