On Wednesday, 7 May, the British Chamber held the first International Nuclear Energy Workshop, bringing together members and experts in a virtual meeting promoted by the Energy Committee. The event discussed the challenges and opportunities of nuclear energy in Brazil and around the world, with the participation of big names in the sector: Elina Teplinsky, global energy leader at Pillsbury; Giovani Machado, specialist in economic-energy studies and former director of EPE; Antônio Muller, vice president of ABEN; Vice Admiral Carlos Alberto Matias, technical director of Amazul; and Celso Cunha, president of ABDAN. The occasion was opened by Fabio Caldas, president of the Adminsitrative Council of Britcham, while the moderation was in charge of Leonardo Miranda, president of the Organising Committee.
