On 31 October (Thursday), the British Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Brazil (Britcham) held a special dinner to honor the Personality of the Year 2024: Daniela Barone Soares OBE. Daniela is a world-renowned economist and has made a significant contribution at the intersection of business, sustainability, and social impact. The event was attended by Britcham leaders, associates, authorities and admirers of Daniela, all celebrating her achievements and her commitment to promoting positive results for people and the planet. As the first CEO of Snowball, an innovative investment fund, she has led projects that balance financial performance and social responsibility. In 2024, Daniela received the Official Certificate and Medal of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire, in recognition of her outstanding services in business and impact investing. The ceremony was conducted by Fabio Caldas, President of the Administrative Council of Britcham, and Nicholas Burridge, President of Britcham Rio de Janeiro.
